In 2017, we posted our first video on YouTube (a port guide for Halifax!), and finished that year with 27 subscribers. We were told building a YouTube channel takes time and patience, and 9 years later we have over 5000 subscribers. And we’re just getting started!
WHY WE CREATED OUR YouTube CHANNEL:
- YOU have asked for more stories, real conversations and insider tips about travel.
- Some of you would rather watch/listen than read every week (and some want both!)
- It keeps us connected to our current clients, and helps us attract new ones.

- Dream-Travel-Share UNPACKED: The Podcast is back, with new episodes weekly. Think of this as the audio version of our weekly travel letter (with more opinions and detail).
- It mirrors our Weekly TRAVEL Letter, so there are four types of posts:

HOW OUR CHANNEL IS DIFFERENT
- We broadcast the way YOU’LL see it. We DON’T have fancy camera equipment, or hire models to act like cruise passengers. We use our iPhones to record what you’ll see.
- If you want the slick stuff, that is professionally edited, then we can direct you to the cruise lines’ website and YT channels.
- It’s NOT monetized. Any commercials you see, YouTube places there, and we get NO revenue. We’re fine with this… we don’t want to be TV stars – we want to sell travel.
- We TRAVEL. These are our stories… not repurposed content from vendors.

- We’ve reorganized the home page to make it easier for YOU to find content you want.
- To better comply with Google’s search parameters, so we can draw more traffic.
